Adar Gandelsman is an Israeli model from Israel. She was Miss Israel 2017's first runnerup. She won Miss Universe Israel 2017 and participated in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Adar took part in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, but she did not place. Gandelsman, Miss Universe Iraq 2017 took a photo with Sarah Idan during the pageant. Idan and her family fled Iraq in December of 2017 after she took a photo with Miss Israel. Miss Israel was also a member of the Israel Defense Forces at the moment. Gandelsman, who is Ashkenazi Jewish and immigrated from Brazil in 1992, was the one to take the picture. [1][2] Adar, her first name, refers to the Hebrew month.
